I left my job in quantum technology last year due to multiple sclerosis. It was very traumatic to leave a profession that I loved. Work became far too stressful while it was becoming apparent there was no place for someone with a disability like mine in the quantum technology sector. As someone with a disability I have experienced my fair share of being looked over, not recognized, not listened too, asked stupid questions, asked rude questions and people just ignoring your existence. I believe NO ONE deserves to be treated that way. That is why it is my mission to create a place that welcomes everyone despite their personal challenges. 

The main mission of NO Two Cakes is to help provide free Birthday cakes to children in need. This includes children with limited financial means that have one of the following: a physical disabiliy, mental disability, chronic or terminal illnesses. As of right now I am only able to help one family a month with this mission. 

Eventually I would love to expand and be able to help more families and individuals in need.  Right now I am only an army of one but one day I would like to be able to employ individuals with physical and mental disabilities. Everyone deserves a chance to succeed and grow. 

The third leg of NO Two Cakes is to eventually provide free class to the same community.  I want to give people the tools the need to learn and grow in the baking world. This would include classes for children, disability individuals and the elderly.
